Foulard Design:

"The design development of my foulard is a journey that dives into the interpretation of flora and fauna. The themes of growth and fertility were central to the design, which is why the representation of women and plants plays a key role. In this creative process, I particularly focused on finding harmonious forms that shape the character of the design.

A significant source of inspiration was Henri Matisse, whose later works helped me discover the balance between form and the space that these forms occupy. I explored negative spaces and allowed myself to be guided by the lightness of his works.
My design process was an organic growth, where I found more freedom and intuition. The goal was to create a contrast to my tattoo art while developing a harmonious interplay of colors and motifs. The design not only reflects my vision of an artistic exploration but also invites others to re-examine the beauty of nature and femininity." - Yanik Niffeler
